We Should All Be Feminists

We should

This is a book that is a transcript of a Ted Talk given by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I did not hear the Ted Talk until after I read the book. It is short almost an essay and talks about life for a woman in the world and how it affects men.

It shows how a friend (male) of hers has his eyes open to how women are treated in the world. It shows his blindness to what goes on around him every day. He honestly thought that everything was fine that women are not treated in a different manner than men.

It is also funny, as she tries to qualify standing up for her rights and beliefs. There is really not a plot in here to give away. It is just one of those books that are well worth the time to read. Or to watch the video.
